You will usually find pastor out in the community with his wife and daughters in some shape, form, or fashion. As an adopted Texan, Pastor has served at St. John since 2015. You can hear him over the air waves on 94.5 klvq or 95.9 kckl every Sunday morning @ 10am as the host of “SUNDAY MORNING.” Previous to St. John, pastor served as the Associate Pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Nederland, Texas. Before seminary, Pastor was on the faculty at the University of Southern Indiana in the departments of Communications, Humanities, and Performing Arts. At the Synodical level, Pastor currently serves as the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) East Texas Zone Counselor, previously serving as the Golden triangle Zone Counselor. He is also a graduate of the Evangelist Training Certificate program through the Texas District. Locally, Pastor served on the Board of Directors for The Stage Notes Academy For the Performing Arts (SNAPA) and Athens Kiwanis. In his free time, he tries to keep plants alive in his garden.
